Processing/workflow

The ore extracted from Pöhla-Globenstein will be processed in the Mittweida plant, including the following processing phases:  

  • Crushing (< 200 mm)
  • Cleaning, sludge removing
  • Presorting (classification in 3 steps)
  • Optosensoric measurement technology for identification (fluorescence in scheelite)
  • Sorting with the help of X-rays (developed by the Pyral AG in Freiberg/Germany)
  • Gravimetric separation via spiral separators
  • flotation of scheelite cassiterite
  • Multi-stage dewatering of the products
  • Drying of the tungsten concentrate by means of new

Target of the pilot processing plant

  • Simulation of the future preparation process
  • Basis for the design of the large processing plant for the regular operation of the mine.
  • Basis of the Bankable Feasibility Study.
